Our Mission
At The Ted Giddens Foundation, our mission is to compassionately stand in the gap for families deeply affected by dementia. We are dedicated to raising funds to provide critical financial assistance for families seeking memory care facilities and at-home healthcare, ensuring that individuals facing the challenges of dementia receive the support they need. Rooted in empathy and driven by the belief that no family should face the financial burden alone, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by dementia. Together, with our community of supporters and partners, we aim to foster a brighter and more supportive future for families navigating the complexities of dementia.

We are an all volunteer board anchored in the core values of empathy, compassion, honesty, integrity, and willingness.
Meet Ted.
The Man that Inspired a Movement.
Most people knew him as "Coach." Several people knew him as a mentor, a friend, a brother and a husband. A few of us knew him as "Dad" and 10 beautiful children called him as "Papa."

And no matter how you knew him, we all knew that he was strong.
​
He was resilient.
​
He was a force to be reckoned with and he didn't know how to love anyone half way.
​
In 2018, Ted was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Even in the midst of illness, he was determined to fight it with as much honor as possible.
